Refund Policy
Last updated October 27, 2026. STORYCRAFTER is operated by UFP Enterprises. Orders are processed by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record, which handles refunds.
1. 14-day refund window
You can request a refund of your most recent payment within 14 days of the charge. If you request within that window, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for the current period — no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are not offered except for billing errors described in section 6.
To request a refund, visit paddle.net and look up your order using the email on your receipt, or reply to your Paddle receipt email. Paddle issues refunds to your original payment method. You can also email support@ujimafilm.com and we will help you through it.
2. Free trial
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that begins when you check out. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. If you stay past the trial, billing starts on day 8 — and the 14-day refund window applies to that first charge.
3. Cancellations instead of refunds
Cancel any time from your account page. Cancellation stops future charges, and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Unless a charge falls inside the 14-day window above, cancellation is not retroactive — we don't refund periods you have already used.
4. Plan changes and proration
Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. A prorated adjustment is not a refund of your plan; switching plans during an active trial is free.
5. Reservations before launch
Plans purchased before the December 1, 2026 launch are reserved immediately, your free trial runs until launch, and the first charge happens on December 1, 2026 — the refund window applies from that first charge just as it does after launch.
6. Failed and duplicate charges
If you are charged twice for the same plan, or charged after cancelling, we will refund the extra charge. Recurring payment failures pause billing; we don't charge you for access you couldn't use.
7. Abuse
We may decline refunds from accounts that repeatedly request them to avoid paying, share accounts, or circumvent usage limits or discount rules.
